We interviewed 3 realtors before choosing Barry. He came very prepared w/an entire folder filled w/information made exclusively for us & the lake home we were selling. He was ready for his interview & for any & all questions we might have had for him that day.
We chose Barry to list our lake home & as expected, he was ready to get the listing photographed & to get a drone video done as soon as we told him we were ready. It was all done on a beautiful, late summer day & the photographs & video turned out great! Barry was also ready to have a Sunday open house within the firsts few weeks which garnered a lot of interest in possible buyers.
We had several more open houses which eventually resulted in having a buyer make an offer. Barry took control of handling this buyer & their realtor & was constantly in touch w/us during this process. He made himself available at all times in order to get this deal done. He worked diligently as the buyer had questions that if he couldn’t handle, he would call & involve us w/every detail along the way.
Once we had an accepted offer, Barry, again, went back to work scheduling any work that needed to be done & also offered his reliable contacts to do anything that was needed. It was so easy to have Barry handle everything as he felt it was his job & he proved that fact to us. We felt completely at ease w/leaving so much of the work to him & to involve us as needed.
This entire transaction had to be completed w/us as the sellers being out of state. Barry kept us apprised all along the way making this sale as easy as possible. We feel he did an outstanding job for us & would highly recommend Barry & his services. He knows Lake Mills, WI as intimately as anyone who lives there which was another reason we chose him. If there was a ‘Mr Lake Mills’ it would definitely be Barry. He’s a great guy & a really great realtor!

I am a Broker/Owner of RE/MAX Community Realty, the #1 selling real estate agency in Lake Mills and the surrounding area. My industry experience extends over 20 years and includes buying and selling lake homes, residential, commercial and rental property. I then lived in Rockford, IL for twelve years where I worked as vice president of a manufacturing company, before taking a wrong turn and stumbling upon the Fargo Mansion Inn. My love for old buildings and renovation lead me to follow my heart and purchase the Fargo Mansion and make my home in Lake Mills. Since venturing into the real estate business, I have earned the titles of GRI, ABR, and CDPE. I recently completed a four year term as President of the Jefferson County Board of Realtors and have also served as President of the Lake Mills Area Chamber of Commerce and was a charter member of the Lake Mills Main Street Program.
